| Report: Leaders from around the world address the summit |
| The official UN website has posted an archive of all government addresses to the WSSD convention. Although the speaches tend to drift away from the official topic of environment and into more of a statement about current affairs, this site is an intellectual gold mine for anybody wanting to get official perspectives from participating governments around the world. Of particular interest is the address from UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, South African president Thabo Mbeki, and a unique and applauded reproach from Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe.
